add the missing credential permanenly

Hii All,

sas enter credentials.jpg

Can it be made permanent ? cause user id and password are valid for the current session only. They are not stored in memory,  not in metadata.

Thank you.

Re: add the missing credential permanenly

If credentials are required to view the data (typically, third-party data), then you must store the individual's credentials in metadata, or add the user to a group that has a login with stored credentials that can access this data source.

Re: add the missing credential permanenly

In SAS Management Console, open the properties for each user, click the Accounts tab, and enter the credentials (ID and password).
