Hello,
not only should the user be able to navigate the dimensions and do retieves
based on member selection but I also have the need to offer the user
a way of updating variables or fact data in the relational database (oracle).
Of course, I can spend days developing a .net user interface but I
wonder if SAS web report studio has the capability to act as an input mask
for a relational database table. if so, how?

thanks,
metalray

If you are interested, Add-in to MS Office provides this type of capability. Included is the KB entry: http://support.sas.com/kb/32/009.html

Thanks Angela. Thats a start but I wanted to avoid the sending around of
Excel input templates and provide a web from. maybe someone else can share her/his experience......

I know this is possible with Oracle Hyperion Web Analysis and I was hoping SAS offers that capability as well.

Maybe SAS Financial Management Solution has this functionality.
