Hello guys,

we have defined shared, cascading prompts within a STP
and the data source for those prompts is
an information map.
executing the STP within EG 4.2 works perfectly
fine but including the STP
within WRS 4.2 M1 does result in the
cascading prompts not working properly.
whenever we change one prompt value
the dependent prompt refreshes but
does not load any new values i.e.
it remains empty.

This seems like bug. Is there a bugfix around?

Regards,
Bob

Hi Bruce,
I read this note but dont think it applies:

1. we see the cascading prompts (they display)
1.1 the problem is with the values, which correctly display in EG.
2. we dont get an error
3. the stored process is not associated with an info map, just the prompts

Hi Bob. I am experiencing the same problem. Has SAS given you any further information?

Currently, the only workaround is to populate the prompts from a table and not an information map.
