I am looking for instructions on how to set up this module.
Not having any luck in getting it started.
Any link to info would be of much help.

Jaime,
You will need to have the SAS EBI Server licensed. After configuring that product, instructions are available on how to deploy & test the web applications.

If you already have the server estabilished, check for the web application itself. It is possible that it didnt get deployed.

In 9.2 it is located in ..\lev1\web\staging\ and is called sas.webolapviewer4.2.ear.

Yes we have the SAS EBI. Our WRS works fine but the web olap viewer won’t work.

Sadly, we have not yet upgraded to 9.2. Hopefully, it will be in or around the same location.

In 9.1.3 the war file is located at: Lev1\web\webapps and is called SASWebOLAPViewer.war.

If the SAS Web OLAP Viewer doesnt already appear in your servlet container loc (such as /tomcat4.1/webapps), move it there.

If it does appear, than we have another problem.

I see a directory calls SASWebOLAPViewerin the container.

So when you go to the web url - what happens? Error msg? nothing?
You should see a Log In page.

The Web URL is simply the replacement in the URL of "SASWebReportStudio" with "SASWebOLAPViewer".

Try a redeploy and a restart of Tomcat.

1. Read back through the instructions.html document (found in the config dir, one level up from ../Lev1). There was some mention of manual config steps required in a copy I have here to get SWOVJ to work.

2. Stop Tomcat and Redeploy the .war file

3. Restart Tomcat

4. Reattempt.

5. Check the log files in Tomcat to see if the redeploy was successful.
