Deployment failed

Hi all,

I've been trying to setup and deploy SAS Viya on Azure through the Azure Marketplace. I'm setting up a very basic installation with no special conditions. When I start the deployment, it runs for a couple of minutes and then shows an error: Deployment failed.

I've tried some basic things, but unsure how to debug this error.

Below is the code that it generates once the error is reached.

Thanks for using SAS Communities.

The error indicates there is some Resource quota issue, can you check https://aka.ms/DeployOperations to see if there is any recourse concern? check 'SASViyaExploreApp' under resource group.

Thanks, I went through a few rounds of updating the allocations in line with the errors I was getting, but eventually managed to get the environment to deploy.

Hi @JduPisanie. I want to apologize for the difficulties you faced getting the quota information correct. We are currently limited in our ability to perform "pre-flight" checks on a subscription prior to creating a deployment through the marketplace. We are working with Microsoft to see if there are options for us to provide better advance feedback when there are quota issues or permission issues that will prevent a deployment from completing successfully.

Thank you for your patience and perseverance in working through these challenges. We hope to make the process more failure proof in the future.
