im waiting to move to this release to get 100% off flash.

Addressing the end of Flash support has been a top priority for us for some time. Viya is the primary answer to that, but 7.5 will address the needs of customers who prefer to remain on the SAS 9 platform.

I should not get into specifics, but I expect that more details will be made available next week at SAS Global Forum.

for Golden Corral the jump to Viya this year is too big a gamble with other projects that have focused IT resources, but we have to get off Flash.  so 7.5 is a good intermediate step for us this year and then tackle the move to Viya in 24 months.

i already have disgruntled sas users  with the flash nagging screens.  so im anxious to get this done this year.
