Hi Folks,

How to Calculated YTD & MTD as Categorical Variable?

we wanted to use YTD & MTD as category rather than Aggregated measures so that we can control the Premium & policies through the control panel with respect to YTD & MTD. Though it can be achieved through Cumulative & Parallel Period ,it can be only used as Aggregated measures not Category.

Can you suggest any solution for this particular problem ?

Regards,

Prasanna

Hi,

This article may not be specific to your case but it can give some insights on how YTD and MTD variables could be created as categories and then applied as filters / parameters. In this case, the data prep is the key. Maybe you could use part of it to solve your problem.

Hope it helps.
