We have a requirement to define the universal display rules and alerts for categories and specific display rules for selected categories. Take for example it is a product category and we have 5 categories. There should be a universal display rules and alerts if the sales amount fall below $100. However, we will need a specific display rule/alert for one of the product category (let's say Product A) where the rule is sales amount <$200.
How can this be configured in SAS VA Designer? Can we create a report level display rule/alert based on the universal rule (i.e. sales amount <$100) and object level display rule/alert based on the specific rule (i.e. sales amount <$200 for Product A)? Will object level display rules/alert overrule the report level display rule/alert?
