Am an experienced application programmer in the Windows PC world, accounting applications mostly.  New to SAS.  Have gotten started with Base SAS, and programming is so far so good.  But now trying to take in the big picture.

Hoping to get schooled on the SAS Universe of products and how they interconnect (when and if they do), and how they relate to Base SAS, which I presume is the heart of everything and the very first stepping stone.

What are other core modules besides Base?  What study path should one take thru the modules if one wants to prepare for the higher level solutions?

A visual aid/diagram would really help, if it exists, showing maybe a core of modules that branches out to their solutions...?

Hi @old_School , thank you for using our SAS Communities! We have a learning path that you may utilize to guide you on what SAS courses to take next. The Base SAS course is found under Foundation Tools > Programming. We can also endorse your query to our Training and Education team where they can provide more details about the courses and the path that you may be interested to take. Would that work for you?
