 Hi,

I am  trying to figure how to upload a large SAS  dataset to SAS UE running on AWS...I  couldn't upload the file to My folders like I usually do,  as the file size was larger than 10MB.  I tried setting up a new libray and got this error message ..

The path is not in the list of accessible paths when SAS is in the lockdown state.

I use  a Mac.

Thanks

L

So the library wasn't created?

How did you try and create the library, what path did you use?

There is a 10MB limit on SAS AWS. Can you download SAS UE and run it off a VM? There's no limit on size on your computer.

The library wasnt created. I was trying to link it to a local folder  on the Mac .

I was trying to see if large files can be uploaded to SAS on AWS. Guess not. Looks like dowloading SASA UE is only the way to do it.

Thanks!

L

Here's a post with the official answer from SAS employee's. It's possible it's changed since last year, but not likely.
