My VM is acting strange

I'm having trouble with the VM (VMware player) . SAS seems to be looping or something in the background and I can't exit out (or don't know how to). I'm just getting familiar with SAS studio. I don't know how to kill a runaway sas job for example. Sometimes I get a message "SAS is trying to load a table" and the VM freezes. Other times I have to enter a keystroke 4-5 times before the editor accepts it. Any help would be greatly apprecated.

What browser are you using and what memory settings did you set (RAM/Cores)
