Hi Dear,
I am going to use SAS spawner from mainframe to connect to my pc.
Can any one tell me what configuration should I make and what software application should I have on my PC for this configuration.

Basically.
I have WIINDOWS XP
SAS 9.1.3 (service pack 3) on my PC
SAS 8.2 on the mainframe.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi:
Is this a Stored Process question? It seems odd that you would make the connection from the mainframe to your PC. Most connections on the Enterprise Intelligence Platform would go the other way -- from the PC client to the mainframe.

You may want to refer to the Integration Technologies Administration guide or to this Tech Support document, entitled, "How to Start and Test the SAS Integration Technologies Object Spawner on a Windows Host".

http://support.sas.com/techsup/technote/ts675/ts675.pdf

You may also want to work with Tech Support directly because there may be connection/compatibility issues when using the 2 different versions of SAS on the 2 platforms.
