Hi there
is there anyway we can display a stored process results in an excel by calling it through the VBA code in excel.I can open the a sas dataset as recordset and displayed in an excel sheet. But for the purpose of a cutomized solution I would like to run the SP through VBA in the excel sheet and display the results.( Or even better if I can run a stroed process , which is a proc summary statement, and open the results through the recordset object .) Not sure if it's possibe. But Just exploring new options 🙂

Thanks in advance for the help

Hi:
If you Google the search terms,
SAS Stored Process VBA
you come up with quite a few hits, two of which are:

http://www2.sas.com/proceedings/sugi27/p174-27.pdf

For more help on the subject, your best bet is to contact Tech Support for help and/or to read the SAS Integration Technologies documentation and look on the web for further examples at these sites:
