We're providing stored processes to our clients through a web server and not in EG. When we create the stored process in EG, the parameters are nice. They have meaningful labels, descriptions and are all around user friendly. When we pass the stored process to the web, we lose the nice look and parameters are displayed as variable names. The description text is non existent. Is there an easy way to maintain these attributes that we built in EG when passing the stored process to the web without having to edit our html? Thanks.

You can use the SAS Stored Process Web Application to dynamically create a property page based on the parameter metadata. The documentation is located at:

If you are using the SAS Stored Process Web Application in a release prior to 9.1.3 SP4, then you may be experiencing this problem:

SN-V9-017477: Variable name instead of Parameter label appears in Parameters page when executing a Stored Process from a Web client

Using the workaround listed in this document or upgrading to 9.1.3 SP4 should fix the problem. If you continue to have difficulties, you can open a track with our Technical Support department:
