Stored Process created with EG4.1 in a multiserver environment

Hi folks,
I was hoping for help on a problem with a stored process.

The Stored Process is created from a EG4.1 project, where there is input data from two different physical SAS servers.

In EG the project works fine, it can access all input data (the data are in libraries that are defined in the SAS Management Console).

BUT when we create a stored process, it can't access data on both servers. In the code it assigns the libraries with META engine and depending on the execution server it can only access the data on the server where it's executed.

It shouldn't be too difficult, what am I missing here...

Re: Stored Process created with EG4.1 in a multiserver environment

EG allows you to seamlessly work across Workspace servers, thus doing work on two separate servers.

Stored processes run on a single server specified by you during the SP publishing wizard. To simulate a similar result, you could use SAS CONNECT with rsubmit's enabling remote submission from the SP server to the 2nd server. Likewise, you could force users to run one stored process and then the 2nd stored process for the same result. Finally, you could ensure all needed libraries are mapped on the stored process server.

Hope that helps.
