Hi,

We are currently executing stored processes on SAS 9.4 through the REST API interface provided by the SAS 9.4 BI Web Services.

The response from the REST service endpoint has the result of the stored process execution (pdf or dataset).  However, I have not found a way to also get the SAS log of that stored process execution.

Utilizing the SAS 9.2 foundation services I know it is possible to get the SAS log of the execution of the stored process in the same result object, as we have done it before.  What is the corresponding way to get the log through the REST BI Web Services?

Thanks,

Sameer

Include "proc printto log='alternate-log-file'; run;" at the end of your stored process to direct the log to an external file. I include the execution time, and user name as part of the file name.

Hi,

By using Proc printto will help you to get the log for the programme, which we can say application log.
If you are running the stored process in a stored process server or workspace server the server log will be automatically generated in the log path of stored processserver.
