Let me ask it this way - I am wanting to create a SAS view that returns a subset of an Oracle table to use as the basis for a prompt but when I set the prompt to use the SAS view the libname for the database table that I used to create it is missing. What's interesting is that I can point to the table and use it as the basis for a prompt with the same library reference (MMS)! The code to create the view works just fine...
libname OPSPROJ meta library="OPSPROJ" METAOUT=DATA;
libname MMS meta library="MMS";
Create view OPSPROJ.Active_User_view as
SELECT Case (NameMI)
when ('') then trim(NameFirst) || ' ' || trim(NameLast)
else trim(NameFirst) || ' ' || trim(NameMI) || ' ' || trim(NameLast)
end as User_Name format=$varchar48.
, loginname as User_id
FROM MMS.SECURITY sec
Where Status = 'ACTIVE'
order by 1
