Hello everybody,

a cluster analysis (method: Ward) is leading to a meaningful solution if I first run proc Aceclus (p=.04).

But the input data are 2 factors which resulted from a factor analysis. My question is now, if it is admissible to use Aceclus by variables which have the same SD. Or rather, how is the difference to the solution without Aceclus to interpret.

Many thanks,

RLS

I would be grateful for any comments. It is quite important for me.

I do not understand the following either: Is Aceclus to apply when the whole scatter plot is elliptical or several clusters?

Kind regards,
RLS
