Hi ,

I am using genmod procedure for generalized linear models in sas visual studion. is there partion data (training and validation ) and model selection availaible for generlized linear models (tweedie, poisson, negative binomial, gamma) ?

No . there is not . 
But there is a ANOVA , in it you can check 
which variable is significant or not significant for MODEL.

Or you could check PROC HPGENSELECT , That might your best shot .
