hi sas experts,

i understand that to determine the number of clusters in k means clustering, we have to look for consensus among the 2 statistics, the local peaks of the CCC and pseudo F statistics.

however, how do we determine the number of clusters if there is no consensus among the 2 statistics? do we only look at pseudo Fstatistics for the optimal cluster number?

appreciate your advise please. thanks.
