Hi,

I am using proc fastclus in order to do clustering with k-means methods.

All my variables are numeric and continuos (like sales, costs, margin...), but I don'y know how to use class variables like "way of payment" (forma de pago, sorry for my english).

I don't know if the algorithm works well with class vars to calculate distance. Is there anyway to do this?, do I need a ordinal class vars?

Another question, I know that I can use N vars in a clustering, but is ther any problem  if I use many... I am thinking in 4 or 5 vars....

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
