Hi....I have tried both the PROC GENMOD and PROC GLIMMIX and the last parameter estimate is missing from both Class statement variable. Is there a way to have these included and estimated as I need estimates for all parameters. Also, what role does the Scale Parameter play in the model and how or does it have any impact on any of the parameter estimates. Thanks in Advance.
Are all your class levels listed? Mathematically you can only have estimates for n-1 class values.
Hi Reeza......I have 2 class variables. Month and Group where Month consist of the 12 months and Group consist of 5 distinct group numbers.
Month should give you 11 estimates and Group 4 estimates.
You should read up on how the class statement parameterizes categorical data.
