How to get standard error of correlation between random effects with Proc mixed ?

I'm dealing with the modeling of longitudinal data with SAS and R and I would like to compare the results between these two softwares. The model I have is linear mixed model with 2 parameters : intercept and slope. Does anyone know to get standard error of the correlation between random effects with Proc Mixed directly?  It seems to me that we can get only the standard error of covariance ? Is it true ? At the moment, we have to use the delta method to get it from SE of covariance. Thanks in advance
