Hi all,

I am fairly new to statistics, and need help with a project.

What does, "In terms of counts, annualized rates will be reported using GEE with a negative binomial distribution" mean by? and how do I do it on SAS?

Please help!

Thanks in advance!

IMHO this is a pretty daunting project if you are new to statistics, but to answer your question, see the GENMOD procedure.

The Getting Started example assumes a binomial distribution, but you can use that example and change dist=bin to dist=negbin (on the MODEL statement) in order to fit a negative binomial model on that data.

What is ANOVA?

ANOVA, or Analysis Of Variance, is used to compare the averages or means of two or more populations to better understand how they differ. Watch this tutorial for more.
