When running a factor analysis by proc factor using methods other than principal components, sas is computing factor scores. Problem is, I cannot find what type of factor scores are being produced. Alternatives typically being the so-called regression method (or empirical Bayes predictor) or the Bartlett method. Does anyone now?

Suggest searching at the SAS support http://support.sas.com/ website, either using the website's SEARCH facility or consider using the Google advanced search argument below:

proc factor type factor scores site:sas.com

There is SAS-hosted product documentation with detailed topic information and also technical/conference reference material which should be useful for your question/post.

What is ANOVA?

ANOVA, or Analysis Of Variance, is used to compare the averages or means of two or more populations to better understand how they differ. Watch this tutorial for more.
