from ddmmyy10 to month in form APR

Does anyone know how to convert from ddmmyy10.(or date9.) to month in the form APR (or April)? Some example data include:

12/07/2018
01/08/2018
11/05/2018
07/07/2018
01/08/2018

put date monname5.;

Replace the 5 if you want longer.
