What would be the procedure similar to making a excel pivot table?

I need 2 examples onesSummarizing and other counting

It depends. There are many different ways starting from:

 

  • Proc Means, Summary, Univariate
  • Proc Report
  • Proc Tabulate
  • Proc Freq
  • SurveyFreq or SurveyMeans 

All of these Procs have examples in the documentation. 

 

I would probably start with Proc Tabulate as it's pretty versatile.
