Hey SAS-C,

Just FYI.

Bart

SAS Packages Framework, version 20251017

Available as usual at: https://github.com/yabwon/SAS_PACKAGES

This release introduces new parameters, created on request of Ryo Nakaya.

Changes:

  • Two new parameters in the %generatePackage() macro:

    • workInTestResults= - Indicates if WORK directories for test sessions should be located in the same place as results. The default value: 0 means "do not do this". Possible values are 0 and 1.
    • testWorkPath= - Points a location where tests sessions work directories should be stored. By default it is null what means that a sub-directory of the main SAS session WORK is used. When in use a sub-directory for every developer's test is created in the location pointed by the parameter. Takes precedence over workInTestResults=.

    If those parameters are in use, the test.tests_summary data set has extra variable pointing to location of every user test.

  • Documentation updated.

Examples:

Generate package and save tests results and work directories:

%let _TP_ = /the/project/path;

%generatePackage(
  filesLocation  = &_TP_./packageFiles
 ,testResults    = &_TP_./testResults
 ,testWorkPath   = &_TP_./testWorkPath
)

proc print data=test.tests_summary;
run;
