Hi.  I have two different datasets named my_data and other_data.  Both datasets have an id variable that is 10 char.  The first dataset's id variable is named my_id and the later is other_id.

I'm wondering what is the best way to query a list of ids that appear in both datasets?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

PROC Star

SQL handles this pretty well, along the lines of:

proc sql;

create table want as

select my_id from my_date

where my_id in (select distinct other_id from other_data);

quit;
