Hi All,
I have an excel to import in to SAS 9.4, where a few rows have been strike through. While importing I'm getting to see those rows as it is. would like to hear from experts to check if there is an option/method exist to identify those rows at the proc import level with out manually deleting them.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Excel is the original source?
AFAIK there is no way to identify the strikethrough via PROC IMPORT.
SAS Proc Import brings in data values, not text color, font, font size, or font attributes like bold or strike through.
If there is a rule that you know as to why those values have been stricken then it may be possible to code something to remove the values. You would need to tell us rules based on values in the data other than the "stricken through" condition.
If not, make a copy of the file, delete the offending values and import from the file with deleted values.
