Calculate next Friday of a column date

It appears if it is a Friday then it will return next Friday. 

E.g. 1 May 2020 then 8 May 2020. 

Is it possible to return 1 May 2020 instead?

This is the current code: reportwk =  intnx('week.6',today(),1,'b');
