"WARNING: Repeated values for a point" Revisited

I followed advice and 'modified' all the data.  Still got the warning.

Then made sure all the 'small adjustments' were positive.  Still same warning.

Code:

data nicholas.data;

call streaminit(7567);

set nicholas.data;

'20101'n    = '20101'n   + abs((rand("UNIFORM")-0.5)) * 0.0000001;

'20102'n    = '20102'n   + abs((rand("UNIFORM")-0.5)) * 0.0000001;

'50501'n    = '50501'n   + abs((rand("UNIFORM")-0.5)) * 0.0000001;

etc.

etc.

run;

Here is the SAS procedure code that is generating the warnings:

proc g3grid data=nicholas.data out=nicholas._20101_20102_ ;

grid '20101'n * '20102'n = '50501'n / spline smooth = .05 naxis1 = 21 naxis2 = 21  ;

run ;

quit ;

If the warnings come up, I feel the resulting data output will be suspect (i.e., garbage).

Does anyone have any additional ideas how to avoid the warnings??

Perhaps..., just guessing, SAS is not counting enough 'significant digits' after the decimal point?  How do I tell SAS to count more digits?

Thanks for your help.
