Hi all

I want to make a division of sums of variable a and b in proc tabulate for the all row, i.e. in the proc tabulate I want to have 1000/2450=40,82%. does anyone know how to do that?

See small example below

data ex;

infile datalines delimiter=',';

input a b;

datalines;

200,700

300,1000

500,750

;

run;

DATA EX1;

set ex;

a_b=a/b;

run;

proc tabulate data=EX1

;

var a b a_b;

table

all=''*a='Portfolio a'*(sum=''*f=comma12.)

all=''*b='Portfolio B'*sum=''*f=comma12.

all=''*a_b=''*(MEAN='simple avg'*f=percent7.2 ) ;

;run;

Proc report will let you do calculations with summaries of variables.. Tabulate won't do what you're looking for.
