We are at this moment doing a migration from SAS 9.1.3 unix to SAS 9.3 windows

In of of our programs we use the following statement

PROC PRINT DATA=WORK.result NOOBS LABEL SPLIT="*" ;

     &label.;

    ID team;

     BY team;

     SUMBY team;

     SUM _:;

     SUM Bij_:;

     SUM Af_:;

     SUM Totaal_:;

RUN;

The difference between SAS 9.1 and 9.3 is that now for every by he uses a header.

If found the following on the SAS site:

  • Each BY group is a separate table and the observation counts is reset to zero at the beginning of each BY group.

My question is there a possibility to have the SAS 9.1 behavior again in SAS 9.3.
