how to import an excel file when column names are on third rows?

The excel file starts with
"The data was created on mm-dd-yyyy"
then a blank row
then column names
then data.

Is there any way to import the excel into SAS dataset and skip the first two lines and get the third row as column names?

Thanks

Suggested reading from the SAS support website http://support.sas.com/ -- use the search facility or here's a Google advanced search argument, this topic / post:

proc import skip first row site:sas.com
