I want to store the freq results into a new dataset.I tried with the below code but it stores only the freq results of the variable ID.Any possible ways are there if i want to have the results of both Name and ID in the stud_freq dataset?.

Any help would be appreciated!

proc freq  data=stud;

tables name id \ list out = stud_freq;

run;

You may be able to get what you want by using ODS.  E.g.,

ODS Output OneWayFreqs = stud_freq ;

  proc freq  data=sashelp.class;

  tables sex age / list;

run;
