Q.A researcher is interested in the difference between males and females with regards to burnout level. He believes that he can obtain all necessary information using a t-test and regression with a discrete predictor.

I just use this code:

proc ttest data = data;

  class gender;

  var burnout;

run;

Thanks,

Since it is not paired data, I will use class. And also try to Wilcoxon test which is an alternative non-parameter method for t-test .

I think it is a typical 2-sample independant T-TEST case. CLASS will be used.
