I have now completed the step you mentioned above !

 

I ran :

 

%let report_dir = %sysfunc(pathname(work));

 

ods pdf file="&report_dir/Report.pdf" pdftoc=1 startpage=yes bookmarklist=hide;
Title j=l "^{style[preimage=&report_dir/B.png]}";

 

and get the error :

ERROR 22-322: Syntax error, expecting one of the following: a name, !, @, DYNAMIC, EXPRESSION, RESOLVE, SYMGET, _UNDEFINE_,
_UNDEF_, _UND_, |.

Try wrapping the preimage value in extra quotes.

 

ods escapechar='^';
ods pdf file="&report_dir./Report.pdf" pdftoc=1 startpage=yes bookmarklist=hide;

Title j=l "^{style[preimage=""&report_dir./B.png""]}";
