I have a dataset of 23 patients.  I want to sample with replacement 125 times.  Does anyone know how to tweek PROC SURVEYSELECT to do what I want?  I have tried a few things, but I keep getting notes in the log saying that my sample size is larger than the number of sampling units and returns the exact same set that I put in.

I have tried this:

proc surveyselect data=popkeepA out=sample1 method=urs n=125;

run;

and this:

proc surveyselect data=popkeepA out=sample1 method=srs selectall n=125;

run;

The variable numberHits in the output dataset contains thhe number of times that observation would be present in your sample. If you want to see them as repeated observations instead, use :

proc surveyselect data=popkeepA out=sample1 method=urs n=125 outhits;

run;
