Relatively new to SQL and trying to learn a few tricks. In the newbie guides I've read, it seems like when you don't add a CREATE TABLE line, you will get an output after submitting the statement, but no table is actually created. If you do add the line, you create a hard table, BUT it doesn't deliver an output.
Is there anyway to add a line to an SQL statement that will do both? I could always add a PROC PRINT statement right after, but it seems inefficient.
