Redusing to two decimals for salary variable

Hi.,

want to reduce the salary variable after two decimal points in DI studio

for example salary---------2500.0025314

Hi:
You either need to use the ROUND function when you create the salary variable (or in your table loading program code):
salary = round(xxx,.01);

or
you can apply a format to reduce the DISPLAYED decimal places to 2 places.
format salary 10.2;

The format method means that the number would still be stored with more than 2 decimal places. The users would never see more than 2 as long as the format was permanently assigned and they did not change it.
