RECOMMEND Procedure Example dataset

hello,

I want to run below example but I can't find salesfact dataset..

it's not in SASHELP, SASUSER, SASDATA

Where can I find dataset in that example?

I would recommend contact SAS Support, the example data is usually available somewhere for you to access, though sometimes people don't check the right boxes on set up.

 

Here's another example:

And the movie lens data is a free data set publicly available online.

I believe salesfact is not a sas dataset, it could be a dataset of a particular user. 

 

They used it as an example

Pay attention that all referenses are to 

MYlasr.salesfact; 

where MYlasr is a private library.

As you are interested in this example, I assume you have your own dataset with sales facts.

The target of the example is to encourage you to addapt the program to your dataset, 

i.e. library name, data set name, variable names - and try to run it, until you understand what it is doing

and learn how to use it.
