Is the Mean score calculated using the mean of the variables given?

It is kind of bugging me in the sense that I know these are not the mean values for the particular data set and I am assuming I am just being paranoid but something is fishy here :smileyconfused:

I don't think so. It use rank sum to judge these two sort of data . If they are coming from the same population, then rank sum should be almost the same .
