Hi,I reset my computer and reinstalled SAS. I imported data (excel) which was .xlsx. I followed the steps but it turned out to be error. I am using SAS Enterprise Guide 7.1 for analyse surveys(the excel) which was able to be imported before the computer was reset. Can anyone help me? I use it for educational purposes. Thank you.

Sorry, but i won't open any office files, please post screenshots using the "Photos"-button and error-messages as text. When posting the log, please use the {i}-button to preserve formatting.

Reading the message in your Doc1.docx it seems to me that may be you forgot to assign some options 

while reinstalling sas. Check your sas configuration file for ENCODING & LOCALE options. You may need

to adapt their values.
