I think every student I've ever had has a different way to do patient profiles. That's because every Pharma and CRO already has their "library" of programs in place to generate patient profiles. You need it for every trial and so once it's been designed for one trial, the code is frequently "recycled" for other trials/profiles.
Inherently, the Patient Profile is more complex than just a simple PROC PRINT or PROC REPORT. So I don't have just 1 example. If you look at all the Google links, you will see that there are many different ways. In addition, if you go out to www.lexjansen.com and search, you will find even more links.
