PROC REPORT missing Special Percentages

I am trying to replace a PROC TABULATE with PROC REPORT and  calculate percentages.   I found  PROC REPORT is missing all the same special percentages as tabulate.

The following is from tabulate documentation:

"Special percentages in PROC TABULATE include COLPCTN, COLPCTSUM, ROWPCTN, ROWPCTSUM, PAGEPCTN, and PAGEPCTSUM"

So why are these Special percentages NOT in PROC REPORT ???????     I should not have to code compute blocks to get these percentages.

These special percentages would make PROC REPORT easier to use.

Thanks

Re: PROC REPORT missing Special Percentages

The two procedures are intended for different display types. Proc Tabulate allows multiple nestings in both row and column so it makes sense to have the 'special' percentages, though getting them to work as desired sometimes is an issue.

If you need them use Tabulate. But if you want to mix these percentage and column calculations you will have to do some work.
