Help please! I am doing a resource selection function experiment on mice. I have multiple telemetry location for each mouse. At each telemetry location, I have collected a number of habitat metrics, and have collected similar habitat metrics from 3 random plots per telemetry location (1:3 case:control). Now I am trying to figure out how to analyze the data. There seems to be a number of ways to do it, and I was hoping for some help on which method would be appropriate. I was hoping to do a matched case control logistic regression, but I also want to stratify by mouse (because there are several telemetry location per mouse), and make the "mouse" variable a random effect (but maybe I don't need to if I stratify...?) Can Proc LOGISTIC handle random factors, and can it have multiple stratification? Any suggestions on other more appropriate procedures would be greatly appreciated.
