Help with prediction and confidence limits please :(

Hi,

I have performed SLR using "proc reg" on some data, and output the 95% confidence and prediction intervals.

There isn't much data and I'm looking at it for someone else who doesn't use SAS.

Using Excel, I need to replicate the plot of the data with a regression line and the limits.

How do I calculate these limits?

I don't understand how SAS calculates "STd Error Mean Predict" values. Does anyone know the formula? I could just paste the values in but that's wrong!

Thanks,

Katie xx

Why would it be wrong to use the calculated values?  One of the great advantages of a package like SAS is that you don't have to load into a second package and do a lot of calculations.  In particular, look at the PLOTS option in PROC REG.  You should be able to get all of this from those plots (especially with PLOTS=FIT).
