Hi All,

Client's concern is that the encoded password which is the output of proc pwencode can be used to remote signon when using Base SAS, which leaves a risk that one can actually access the server even without knowing the actual password is.

I would like to ask if this is a current limitation on 913 or are there options that disable remote signon when the actual password is not the one used when signing on remotely.

Regards,
Milton
