Hello,

I have some variables I'd like to get correlation coefficents for, and one of them is a class variable with 6 levels. Can I do this in PROC CORR? I tried to create 6 dummy variables and get a Pearson value but is it real?

Thx

As far as I know, there is no such thing as a correlation with a classification variable.

You probably want to think more about what outputs make sense to you here. For example, might you want to compare the means at each of the six levels of the classification variable?
